I love this picture of Frieda Kahlo,, she looks so stern in so many pictures, probably because she was in constant pain. But here she looks serene and beautiful doing what so many of us do and it makes me feel connected to her and my fellow women artists!
So, after a long day of working at the gallery, I say thank you Frieda and thank you to all you wonderful, beautiful, creative, talented, supportive women.

What a beautiful snap Jen, I have pictures of Frida above my work sapce all the time and everytime I look at them, I draw strength and inspiration. She bares her soul, you see that in her eyes. I have never seen this snap before. Thanks for sharing. Love. dee.
Love the Frida entry! There have been more biographies (books and films) made on her than on any other artist I know of.
